When this special function is activated it is possible to cancel the remaining quantity for all ended orders. It is still possible to manually cancel the remaining quantity on finished orders if you wish to but then you will not use this special function. An additional question is asked to the operator when confirming the option to cancel remaining quantities on all needed orders, given the option to not do so. If the user selects the "No" option all orders are ended without any cancellation records created, as opposed to the "Yes" option where all ended orders are given a corresponding cancellation record.
Monitor 7.4 or later needs to be used as ERP system, along with Balthzar version 3.0 G0409 or later and the latest version of Balthzar ERP.
The following criteria need to be fulfilled for this special function to work:
1) More than 0 in the current quantity needs to be reported to Monitor.
2) Passed time between the time when cancellation is done in eTouch and the time
when it is executed in Monitor must be whats entered in "transfer delay stop
time" in Balthzar ERP plus 70 minutes.
3) Status must
be allowed to change in Monitor to "Finished for the card no" in question. (In
other words, the report no must exist and have a status that allows
change.)
The effect of canceling a production order is that the remaining quantity in Monitor is set to 0 and the status is set to "Finished".
With the release of eTouch version 21.10.0, this special function will be updated with extra functionality. Now it will display a message regardless if the process for cancel the remaining quantity was successful or not. If this process is not successful the system will now attempt to restart until either the process is successful or the operator decides to quit the process. This will allow operators to detect problems during production, unlike previous versions that had no message at all.
