When setting up the connection between Balthzar and Monitor, there are a few basic data that must be entered in Monitor.
Certain data is related to specific functions, and if those aren't used, they can be skipped. This section contains an overview of a few functions basic data.


Dataregistration integration Balthzar to Monitor

In order to transfer data from Balthzar to Monitor, a separate API must be purchased from Monitor Industriutveckling AB.
When this is in place, certain basic data needs to be registered in Monitor, mapping the machines used in Balthzar to workcenters as well as adding users corresponding to those workcenters.

A decision has to be made about whether or not to use prefixes to machine-names in order to match them to machines in Balthzar.
The choice determines if employee's are to be separated from machines in a obvious way, which might be useful when naming machines and employees numerically.
When doing so, "M100" is easily distinguishable from "100", where "M100" is the machine and "100" is the employee.
