(This section of the documentation only describes the object Text, not how to add those to a specific dashboard. If that's what you're looking for, have a look at this section instead. )
The object Text is primarily used to place a static text somewhere in
the dashboard, with a specified font, font size, color and background
color.
The
setting's available to configure are the following :
X-pos / Y-pos : Horizontal/vertical position, where
origo is located in the upper left corner of the dashboard.
Width/height : Width
and height of the square containing the text.

When saving setting's of the text object, remember to save the layout of the whole dashboard as well as the item itself.
