The section for "Document viewer" is intended to be a complement to "Document group" as well as "Manually linked documents" which both have separate documentation. It is important to know what the selected method here, will affect the entire company. Contact Delacroys support for any further help/information regarding this.
Type
Determines which type of document view should be used. For
now, only options 1, and 2 are active and possible to use.
1. Folder - Parts
This will be the main folder on the company
network where documents will be saved. It is possible to add subfolders and name them
after the company's different parts. When documents are saved in these
subfolders it will be possible to view
them in eTouch, when a corresponding part is selected in planned/future/ended orders.
2. ERP Direct
connection
This option is intended to be used when you wish to
view documents from the company's ERP system. However, since not all
ERP systems are supported, and not all ERP system have the functionality
of document viewing, this might not work depending on what ERP
system the company uses. Contact Delacroys support if any additional
help/support is needed here. If the ERP system is supported it will be possible to view
documents based on various data connected to the selected order, for example, part
number, operation, tool, etc.

If this option is selected, it means that during the search phase, it will
not search for a specific type, instead the search will go
through all available types.
Path to the base
folder
This button is a shortcut to select a base folder for the network.
This is important to verify that the search path and access are
correct.
