Within the automatic stop reason module, you can configure which stop reasons should be set automatically given certain conditions. In general, each rule is defined as applying to one machine or a group of machines, during a timespan, given one or more conditions.
An example of this could be to set automatic stop reasons to "Break" during lunch breaks, to avoid that operators should forget about coding that stop reason when taking a lunch break. There are several examples of how to configure automatic stop reasons below.

additional help/information is needed.
Machine
Here you can select a single machine
and/or multiple machines that the automatic stop reason will be applied to. To
edit/create machines in Balthzar go to "Client" -> "Administration" ->
"System settings" -> "Basic data" -> "Machines".
Set stop reason
Here you select one or more stop reasons that will be assigned to the new automatic
stop reason. If you wish to use the option <None> here, remember
to configure it via "Client" -> "Adminstration" -> "System
settings" -> "Basic data" -> "Stop reasons" -> "Stop reason 3" ->
"Stop reason at reset" -> "None". Here
there is more information about how this form
works.
When stop reason is
Here you can select one, or more
stop reasons, that will be applied to the selected stop reason/s selected in the
previous selection.
Calendar
Here you can pick one or more
calendars that will be applied to the created automatic stop reason. To
edit/create calendars in Balthzar, go to "Client" - > "Administration" ->
"System settings" -> "Calendar".
Day of week
Here you can pick one or more days of
the week that will be applied to the created
automatic stop reason.
Verify from/until time
Here you select the timespan that will define
when the automatic stop reason starts/ends. It is important to keep in
mind that when selecting the timespan, you should always have extra minutes to
make sure that the system will be able to properly code this before
the time runs out. If for example, you code a lunch break between 12 -
13, but if for some reason the production run time for machines went over the time for 12,30
the system would have missed
to code the lunch break.
Apply rule
Not used.
Department
Here you can select one, or more,
departments that will be applied to the created automatic stop reason. To
edit/create new departments/zones/categories in Balthzar, go to "Client" ->
"Administration" -> "System settings" -> "Basic data" -> "Department" "Zone" "Category".
Zone
Same as
above.
Category
Same as above.
Examples of how to create automatic stop
reasons
Here there will be several examples of
how to create automatic stop reasons for different situations. To save time
during setup there are some things to remember. If you wish to select specific
stop reasons, instead of <All>, type manually in that field to find
them faster, since it is quite a long list to scroll through. The same is true if
you wish to select one or more machines instead of using <All>. Type the
name of the machine/s, for example, JH1, PW1, PJ1, etc, rather than use the
scroll list. When setup is done, click on "Save new" to confirm this. The new automatic
stop reason will then be visible in the list of all the available automatic stop
reasons.
If you wish to set up a new automatic stop reason for the stop code 30030: No planned production on Fridays after 14:00:00 this is how it is done:
Machine: <All>
Set
stop reason: 3003: No planned production
When stop reason is:
<All>
Calendar: <All>
Day of week: Friday
Verify from time:
14:00:00
Verify till time: 14:05:00
Apply rule:
<None>
Department: <All>
Zone: <All>
Category:
<All>
If you wish to set up a break for all machines for two different departments, FS/SVETS, for weekdays at 09:30 this is how it is done:
Machine: <All>
Set
stop reason: 000666: Break
When stop reason is: <All>
Calendar:
<All>
Day of week: Monday - Friday
Verify from time:
09:30:00
Verify till time: 09:35:00
Apply rule:
<None>
Department: FS, SVETS
Zone: All
Category: All
After the break, you might want to recode the automatic stop reason to be <None>, see below how to do that.
Machine: <All>
Set
stop reason: -
When stop reason is: 000666 Break
Calendar:
<All>
Day of week: Monday - Friday
Verify from time:
09:45:00
Verify till time: 09:50:00
Apply rule:
<None>
Department: FS, SVETS
Zone: All
Category: All
If you wish to code an automatic stop reason with all machines for calendar 1: Machine calendar, for department FS/SVETS, to have the stop code 285: Machine service on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 12:00:00, this is how it is done.
Machine: <All>
Set
stop reason: 285: Machine service
When stop reason is:
<All>
Calendar: 1: Machine calendar
Day of week: Monday, Wednesday,
Friday
Verify from time: 12:00:00
Verify till time: 12:05:00
Apply
rule: <None>
Department: FS/SVETS
Zone: <All>

If you wish to code an automatic stop reason for specific machines, for example, JH1, PJ1, PW1. Then give them the stop code, 270 Material no refill, for all days of the week, if the stop reason is set to 10013: Other, or 97 Planned stop at 16:00, this is how it is done.
Machine: JH1, PJ1, PW1
Set
stop reason: 270: Material no refill
When stop reason is: 10013: Other, 97
Planned stop
Calendar: <All>
Day of week: <All>
